Winter 2003 Issue 73 - $7.00Medieval Fashions Medieval fashions come to life though dozens of paper dolls created by our members. Susan Aalund not only created a beautiful full color paper doll for this theme, but also provided an article about the fashions of the medieval period including the reticulated headdress and the hennin. Brenda Sneathen Mattox takes another approach to the topic by discussing what it was like to be a woman during the medieval period. Also: featured artist Joan Liles, showcase of paper dolls by members, and advice from Judy M. Johnson on the topic of drawing celebrity paper dolls.
