Lois Takatch
Artist Bio:
Lois L. Takatch (née Musick) (1928–1998) was an artist and designer who worked for American Greetings and Saalfield Publishing before spending several years as a freelance illustrator. A longtime resident of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, she studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art on scholarship and graduated from Kent State University in 1949. In addition to her commercial art career, she taught fourth grade at Crestwood Elementary School and was active in local arts and community organizations, including the Valley Art Center and Alpha Xi Delta sorority.
